My music production journey, like many others in the same field, has not been as smooth as I envisioned it to be. Along the way, obstacles in ultimate forms have come my way and it was through the collective and strong community behind EML that I have overcome some of these. The mentorship from experienced individuals that have taken the road before me and ceaseless openness and love for music are the biggest takeaways that I gained from EML. In EML, there is no dichotomy. People of various experience levels and love for varying genres come together as one to celebrate what music means to them. The passion that each individual has for music just glows from within and this is what makes them special in their own right. My words are only that of what I have experienced. As someone who has bonded and gone through a significant part of University with the collective, I encourage you to take the chance and craft an experience unique to yourself with EML, be it through the performances that they organise or the weekly club-organised get-togethers.
